A unique women's rugby tour in the professional era here to New Zealand.
First question would be, and again, it's something that a lot of people have talked about, just a bit of concern over the team that's coming.
Is it just going to be England in red jerseys?
And looking at the tour schedule, you've obviously got the three test matches, including one down in the new stadium in Christchurch, which I'm sure we're all very excited about.
But the other tour games are against selections rather than domestic sides.
Was that the plan all along, or is this just something that you've come to as a result of the circumstances of the professional player base at the moment?
Now let's talk about player numbers because while it's something that probably isn't filling out the top teams as much as we might like, it is something that is often brought up as a positive part of women's rugby.
Where are we at right now here in New Zealand and how is it stacking up just overall with overseas, with the likes of England and France who would be the Black Ferns' main rivals?
Those lines and something that definitely is in your remit is the sevens.
Not such a great result for the Black Ferns sevens over the weekend.
Can't believe we picked this week to talk about it because it feels like they win every other week.
What is the future of the sevens program?
How much of it hinges on its inclusion in the Olympics?
And therefore, what's the future of this team?
I don't know if you're across this, but has there been any word from the IOC or from World Rugby about its future in the Olympic Games?
Because I kind of feel like...
it all kind of hinges on that and that once it got into the Olympics, it changed from, you know, just tournaments to some, you know, a massive pipeline and we find ourselves in the situation that we are now.
So like really like when are we going to have some clarity over whether it will continue in the Olympics and what World Rugby's, yeah, just sort of long-term commitments to this because it feels like it's a story that comes up every year or so.
All right.
And just moving along now, that's obviously along that and the Lions Tour and everything's in the future.
