My friend is black.
Her family is black.
They're Afro-Cuban.
So hearing him say that shit, like, yeah, it was very personally offensive.
It's fucking weird.
Like he tries to make everything literally black and white by saying like, all the white people left, all the brown people stayed, the brown people are good, the white people are bad.
And it's like, it's so intellectually dishonest.
And he could be educating people on like the complexity of the situation, but he always just tries to put...
one situation he thinks he understands and like put it over something else and just like trace it.
So it's like, oh, well, this is just like Israel.
Like everything's just like Israel.
It's like, no, every situation has its own history, has its own people, has its own religions and languages and, you know, diaspora.
Like it's all fucking different.
Cuba isn't Israel.
Like it's just, it's, it's frustrating.
It's very frustrating to watch him reduce everything down, especially when you personally know people who have been impacted by the communist regime.
And I don't understand why it's okay for people to be oppressed by leftists, but not Republican authoritarians, right?
Like that does not make sense to me at all.
