And you can tell when you look at the MRI, he's had an old hamstring strain, because you get this thick scar throughout the area, where if you break a bone, your bone heals bone to bone, right?
If you injure a hamstring, you never get a new muscle or a new tendon, you get scar.
And that scar, you're going to lose mobility.
You get a little stiffer.
It may take the player a little longer to warm up.
They may have some kind of other symptoms that they feel.
And there's treatments we offer for these things.
But I agree with you.
Like for any fan, right, you kind of hold your breath.
Someone coming back from a hamstring, you're like, ah, hope this doesn't re-injure.
Because I'll tell you, the re-injuries are typically worse.
They look worse on the MRI.
And sometimes the return is longer.
So, you know, I usually tell athletes sometimes, like,
Give me an extra week and I may save your season.
Steal a week from me and you may lose the season because that can happen on some of these soft tissue injuries.
Yeah.
So normally when they come in for me, one, you know, once you make the diagnosis and you know exactly what you're dealing with, that to me is first and foremost, because if you don't accurately diagnose the type of hamstring strain they have, you can't really have a foundational table for a rehab treatment.
