So if you have gestational diabetes, you sometimes have to take insulin, sometimes have to have glucose monitors.
But in my case, I can manage it with diet and exercise.
What happened yesterday was I completely misunderstood the assignment.
So I tried to eat โ
breakfast and lunch no carbs all protein and by the time one o'clock rolled around like I had a horrible headache I couldn't stand up I was so dizzy because part of part of the side effects of what I have is blurred vision and fatigue which I've been like having a lot of like I've been so I've seen so many stars this pregnancy it's crazy this like kind of does make sense that I have it um
So then I started reading more into it.
And it's like you actually need carbs.
You just need healthy carbs.
So you need wheat toast.
You need sweet potatoes.
You need quinoa.
I had quinoa for lunch.
I've ordered sweet potatoes for dinner.
Last night we had wheat toast.
I had three pieces.
I think that's too many.
And what they say is offset it with protein.
So like my snacks, I usually have โ I kind of have like Cheetos or SunChips.
Now I have an apple with cottage cheese.
So I'm just making better decisions.
