So less of the big, chunky hardware.
quite heavy loafers, you're going to get way more use out of something way more streamlined.
So look for some ruching around the edges.
Look for some texture.
So whether that is suede or patent, they'll look like a feature of your outfit and not like an afterthought.
Yes, exactly.
And no, I wouldn't do any socks with those.
I would do absolutely no socks at all.
Yeah, I mean maybe it's a question around getting hot in the loafers, so maybe a socket or something that you don't see, totally fine.
I think another way around that though could be like a slip-on loafer, which we've seen previously before.
Yeah, that you might do with skirts.
So true.
So more streamlined, I would say, rather than chunky and textured.
I think if you're doing, say we're doing a streamlined suede loafer, for example, I think that would pair best with denim.
The fabric of the suede and the denim together works really nicely.
And I would do more of a cropped sort of style with that rather than a denim that flows over the loafer.
I think they can feel a little bit harsh and heavy for most styles anyway.
And then if it was a loafer that maybe you're wearing to work, maybe this is your more patent black loafer.
I would recommend doing a long, flowy, wide leg pant in grey or a darker kind of colour tone.
So yeah, dark grey, charcoal, black, any of those sorts of shades that kind of just fall over the shoe and you'll just get that little peek through of the texture and maybe some ruching around the top.
