Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
You're listening to a Mamma Mia podcast.
Hey, Yubies, it's Molly here from the Beauty Edit, jumping into your ears to give you another fantastic listening recommendation. In case you missed it, Nothing to Wear talks all things fashion. Whether it's the latest trends, wardrobe rotations, or building fashion confidence, they're talking all about it. So have a listen to this episode because I reckon you're going to really like it.
Whoever said orange is the new pink was seriously disturbed.
Florals for spring. Groundbreaking.
Oh, my gosh. You have to do it. You live for fashion. Hello and welcome to Nothing to Wear, the podcast that solves fashion problems and levels up your wardrobe. I'm Lee Campbell. Today we've got stylist Hayley Cooper back on the show. She was first on with Tam and everyone loved her advice.
So today we're talking fashion dilemmas, how to style loafers, the exact right length to hem your pants, and what the heck does smart casual actually mean? So let's get into it. So Hayley, welcome back to Nothing To Wear. I didn't get to chat to you last time and in case anyone missed the wonderful episode you did with Tam, who are you?
What do you do? So I'm a personal stylist here in Sydney and I've been doing this for about 16 years now. I work with everyday women and some men to build their wardrobes in a way that works for them, to increase their confidence, make things feel easy, should be all simple, fun and feel completely aligned to them.
Fun and aligned. I like that. Oh my God, 16 years before social media, before, you know, I mean, I guess at the start of online shopping, sort of.
Kind of, yeah.

Chapter 2: What does 'Smart Casual' really mean?
I'm into the oversized, but it's so true. And when you have worn it the first time, you're like, oh, is it back or is it not?
Because 90s is back. It is a little. It's confusing. And it's kind of like you can wear these things and you start to feel, I guess you can feel when things don't match the fashion that's around. Totally. Like the denim jackets, for example, the more tailored styles, absolutely, with your dresses and your summer pieces and things like that, yes. Yes, yes.
But I do think the more relaxed sort of styles now, they make sense with the wide leg flowy pants, for example.
Yeah, it's so true.
So that's interesting.
I've got one fitted scan on the theatre that I'm holding on to because I'm hoping it comes back. Anything else on your social media that you're loving or seeing?
Yes, a lot of Hilary Duff. I know that a few months ago she kind of popped back into the world of things.
She's on my feed too.
Yeah. I follow her a lot because I love what she wears. She was who I absolutely loved in the early 2000s. It was so good. And I can see that as a stylist, I can see her evolution of her personal style happening. And I think that so many women get to that stage in their 30s and 40s where we're like, okay, we need to change things up a little bit. We need some difference.
