I pull up a map of the dungeon, and most of it's clouded in fog of war, but I can see a ping of where I think she is.

Yeah, it does actually unlock.

You see that there's now a ping on the map, and the room is illuminated.

Walking around, I'm just really following the map.

I'll walk in the very back, and as everyone is following Grumly, I'm looking around suspiciously, looking for a closet, any closet.

You actually, right in the Grand Hallway, you see that there is a large, like, one single flat polygon, very pixelated doorway, that it looks like a closet door, right before the big lava pit with the metal grate over it.
