None of the main nominees do.
But they close it down at noon, probably for security purposes and just to make sure everybody's there and in their spot.
And then almost, you know, you're in a one-foot-by-one-foot...
space uh shoulder to shoulder with other media outlets sometimes you may be next to a tv person sometimes you may be next to a print journalist or another radio person so it's like flying into this space yes it's like flying and you get your own middle seat everyone has a middle seat joy
And, yes, such a joy.
And you're just in there sweating.
And when the stars start to arrive, it's like a cattle call.
You just start yelling for people, hoping they come over and, you know, give you a couple of seconds of their time if they have it.
If you know a publicist, maybe a publicist will help you out.
Generally, they go to the larger outlets, the big media outlets like E!
Access Hollywood is leaving, but they'll be there tomorrow.
And then if you're lucky, you may get a few people who have some time to talk with you, and so that's sort of the hope.
And then you just sit there and you sweat for a few hours, and everybody goes in.
They have to be in there and seated when the show starts at 5 o'clock.
And then at that point, they start breaking down the red carpet, and I will move over into the interview room and the press room where the winners will come backstage after they have won.
And once again, I will try to, like, you know, get a couple of questions in there.
I mean, we're talking about hundreds of media outlets that go to these things.
And it is really tough to get a question if you're not one of the larger outlets.
But I'm going to do my best.
You know, if anything, I'm just going to take a bunch of selfies and post it on my page, maybe even a KFI page.
