Now, PGG writes and reckons part of what has helped is getting everybody together in Christchurch in that new auction room.
Do you reckon that's part of it?
Oh, I mean, those efficiencies needed to happen.
Like I said, sheep numbers are declining.
Do you reckon this is good enough news for the farmers to rebuild their flocks again?
It does take time, but look, sheep really need to be a dual-purpose animal to compete, which means you get a profit from meat and you get a profit from wool.
And look, the way things are at the moment, if you're not growing sheep for wool, you are missing out.
Farmers respond to market signals pretty quickly.

Yeah, Richard, thanks very much for talking us through it.
Have a good day.
That's Richard Dawkins, Federated Farmers Meat and Wool Chair.
Heather, did China apologise to us for going to the Cook Islands?
Did China apologise to us for being annoying?
Because they are annoying now, eh?
Like every single thing anybody in New Zealand, carp and that, that's like an annoying wife.
It's like a fish wife.
And after a while, I mean, it's kind of counterproductive because at some stage we're just going to, oh, it's China just harping on again.
Don't worry about them.
Just ignore them.
