So there was an idea that Labour had to go into twenty fifteen also with some quite straightforward promises.
Obviously it was a brilliant idea to inscribe them in stone as a sort of visible metaphor for how seriously Labour took its promises to the public.
I mean, these things are always ridiculous.
You know, I watched Boris Johnson drive a bulldozer through a wall of p polystyrene bricks, which frankly was no less ridiculous.
