Is it a nice Victorian property?
Does it have a lovely view?
I think like we don't always think just in terms of
So British people have always struggled to get on board with this sort of price per square foot thing, even though like when your estate agents will tell you it, but you just be like, oh, OK.
So what Zoopla's done is it's tried to come up with a sort of novel way of looking at properties size and something that people can kind of grasp onto.
So instead of price per square foot, they've looked at the price of houses per sheet of A4 paper.
So do you want to have a guess at how much the average A4 piece of paper of property is worth in the UK?
200.
Isn't that the article?
It is about 200.
Christ!
Yeah.
Yeah, a square foot is about ยฃ193.
So in most cities across the UK, it's about ยฃ200 for an average sort of A4 sized piece of paper.
But some places, much, much more.
So every major city across the northern Midlands, you get a full sheet of A4s worth of space for ยฃ200.
So Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool, Birmingham, Coventry...
So that's kind of about the average.
But there are some places where you get much, much more.
So in Burnley, Hull, Sunderland, Blackpool, Middlesbrough and Blenow Gwent, I hope I've said that right, you can get two full A4 sheets of paper for ยฃ200.
