Well, I think it's I think it's.
I don't want to talk about the past, but I know from being a player, we've always thought that you have to treat media with respect.
You have to talk to them.
You have to give them what they want because they are a big part of why you're being paid what you get paid.
And it's a chance for you as a player to send a message to the markets.
I mean, you can shy away and don't talk to them.
But if you talk to them, you're honest and you speak out what you feel, really feel, that sends a message.
And it allows you to say what's on your mind instead of having media โ
try to frame what they think you're talking about.
So that is something we took pride in and something we will discuss going forward.
But it's going to be a change for sure.
First off, we want to express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of John Garrett and Ernie Punch McLean.
I want to thank ownership Francesco and Roberto Aquilini for this incredible opportunity.
When they came to us with their vision and the plan for the next upcoming years, we got very excited.
We spent 26 years in this amazing city.
We were drafted in 1999 and played 17 unforgettable seasons alongside some of our best friends, teammates, and staff.
In 2018, we became part of the very spirited fan base in the city.
We were fans for three years before we came back in a management role.
We then turned into player development, were part of a little bit of scouting, coaching, so we've seen a lot of different aspects of this organization.
Every successful team we've been a part of had values, cornerstones that could answer one question, why are we here and what do we stand for?
