The mixer consisted of a basin with a long rod welded inside.
Attached to the long rod were smaller dull spikes that rotated on the rod to mix the dough.
On the bottom of the basin was a removable plate that slid out to move the dough from the mixing basin to a container that could then be removed and placed on a conveyor belt to the dough press.
The mixer was turned on and off by a lever on the side and also adjusted the speed of the mixing.
When I started working there, I begged and pleaded to be out on the noodle duty.
