And there are some suggestions that Peter Volandes will take on both jobs of what I'm describing as CEO and chair of the rugby league.

Now, Volandes' ascension to the role of executive chair is not given...

is not yet a given and he would need to lobby hard to make it happen.

It is potentially high risk, high reward option for Valandis personally and the league more broadly.

It might just be thoroughly bad idea that runs counter to good corporate governance.

Now, I don't like the idea of that, the people accusing Valandis of being, you know, the chairman and the CEO of bad corporate governance.

There is a suggestion is that he has to get a fair few votes, i.e.

all the clubs but one.

Yeah, they would need somebody separate to be the CEO or to be the chairman.
