silent retreat as I said in that podcast it was constant witness mode and since then it's been something that I've really just carried forward it was before as well but I think it just really strengthened when you're on a retreat you really do strengthen that especially even just recently on my retreat we made silent mornings and the women loved it the women loved the silent mornings because you can be in full witness mode and when we're in our deconditioning journey like this
Sometimes it can feel like your mind is exploding.
You know, we need to remember that it's not you that it's exploding.
It feels like your ego is exploding and your ego is exploding.
All the ways that you felt like you should have to be or all the ways or identities or masks that you felt like you had to carry.
They start to lose control and your ego doesn't like that.
Your ego doesn't like losing power.
And it can sometimes feel like you're going a little bit insane.
And I want to just normalize that.
Sometimes when you are releasing old stories or even just starting to witness yourself like this and starting to realize like, why did I do this thing?
Or starting to see of like, how does it feel when I don't do this thing?
You know, I love how Michael Singer says, if you know if something has a hold over you, give yourself the option or even ask yourself, how would it feel not to do it?
And if you low-key freak out, that's a good indication that there's something unhealthy there.
And so we need to almost celebrate our mind being confused.
We need to celebrate our mind feeling a little bit insane.
We need to celebrate our mind feeling like it's exploding because you're starting to connect to true awareness.
And when we go against our conditioned views and patterns, again, the ego tries to hold on.
