She's unbending about morning routines.
She says the minute you wake up, you've got to get out of bed.
I deliberately always set my alarm 10 minutes early so I can snooze because I love that feeling of like, oh, I've got to wake up.
But just... 6.20 alarm, 6.30 get up, get your exercise clothes on, get out the door, walk, come back, make up, hair, whatever, come in.
Like that's what I do when I don't have to deal with the kids.
And the thing about the morning shift and the idea of setting everything up is lovely, but that shift is going to look very different depending on what is required of your day, right?
The reason when my kids were little and I'm stripping beds and washing things is because...
you can't walk back into a house to a stinky house and, you know, beds that need doing and all that kind of stuff, whereas later on you can.
So I think the problem with all the morning TikTok advice is it's very unbending, whereas we all know and our stories have just shown that, like,
It's pretty different depending on what's going on.
