Entertainment impersonation sitting outside the velvet rope as these guys came back.

But it was a really, really useful exercise.

And this is sort of how I want to introduce the podcast today.

Obviously, you probably know about the MLB Awards.

You probably know about all the awards, including, by the way, the MVP was actually announced.

Cal Raleigh did not win.

He just walked by me in the airport, but he did not win.

He came up just short with Aaron Judge, let the debate rage on.

I did not have a vote for the American League MVP.

I did have a vote for the American League Cy Young, which I haven't talked about on the podcast, or maybe I'll break it down, break down all the awards.

I voted for Tarek Skubal.

Slightly over Garrett Crochet.

Let the discussion begin.

Let the debate begin.

So be it.

I'm all for it because that's what makes these awards great.

That's what makes the Hall of Fame discussion great.

That's what makes baseball great.
