I don't know how to say that.
That may be right, which is a very rare childhood illness causing inflammation of blood vessels.
Gia then details how she rushed her daughter to hospital when this happened in what Gia believes is a decision that, quote, saved her life, which is obviously great that she acted so fast and did that.
But again, I just find the timing of all this a bit uncomfortable, if I'm being honest.
And I'm not the only one.
Today, Gia actually responded to one woman on TikTok who made a video where she accused Gia of using her daughter this way.
And Gia said this.
And when Gia spoke about raising awareness there, I completely agree.
And I think that's great to do.
But again, when questioning potential ulterior motives, the timing of this all just feels...
questionable and don't also confuse this as me suggesting or saying that Gia is a bad mum because I'm not and I think the way Gia has spoken about her daughter throughout the experiment and especially in her backstory and you know the brief times we've seen her in her content it does seem that being a mum is like the thing Gia's proudest of and it's what brings out
the best in her.
That's the only real times we've seen a different Jia to the one who's just been the catalyst of chaos, drama, manipulation, and all the mean girl stuff.
And once again, as I've already said, I'm not a parent, which is why I don't really like
touching on topics like I have at the end of this episode.
But I just think it's weird that after weeks of Jia talking about in the press how her time on maths has impacted her daughter negatively, to now make that choice to put her face out there on magazine covers and in content as part of the drama, it just feels like a big PR play.
You know what, in yesterday's podcast, I did say how you should all, when reading any article, ask yourself, what is the purpose of this article and what does it want me to feel?
And in this case, in my opinion, it's not just to frame Gia's young daughter as a victim of her mum's actions on TV.
but to frame Gia as a victim in everything and get the public to feel sorry for her through the old classic PR crisis move of distract and deflect.
And on that subject of the distract and deflect method, you know the last time we saw that?
