Podcast Appearances
I think the feeling of not being heard is universal at the moment.
And so it doesn't have to be
political it's it's just the issues that affect the most and then it's labeled that i mean the prime minister a couple of times has said things like you know one nation is a dark force um and and you know over the years those parties have been considered you know extreme right wing and that's what labor is certainly and you'll you'll hear that more and more they're extreme right wing
But people are so disgruntled with the political parties at the moment, Labor, but also the Liberal Party is just a complete mess.
The Nationals are also hopeless because people have seen them in government and they just haven't performed.
They haven't looked after their own electorates, let alone states and also federally on a national level.
So that was always going to be happy hunting ground for me.
And I love talking to people and I love long formats.
So that was the whole reason why I set out to do it.
I mean, I didn't think it would go so well.
I'm blown away and I'm humbled by it all.
But I want you guys to know that literally I've been listening to podcasts for 10 years now.
And the ability to build a community around you and to be something that people want to listen to intimately is
And that's what I think a podcast is, is a great privilege.
And I work really, really hard at it.
But at the end of the day, it's the most satisfying thing I've done in media.
It's great to hear.
Talking about media, four or five years ago, Nath came bounding into the studio.
He said, right, I'm looking at houses in Sydney.
I've got the job as the sports reader up there.
