And to be honest with you, for the most part, it was a bit of a come down that
Matt was holding everybody off in the way that he does so brilliantly often to win golf tournaments.
And I guess the bogey on the last, all of the drama on the last 30 minutes was fantastic.
And so it was a brilliant event in the end.
I thought Scheffler actually didn't look like he played brilliantly.
He looked pretty good off the tee and he looked phenomenal around the greens and on the greens.
I was worried for his iron play a little bit at times.
I don't think he was on point there.
And of course, the one in the playoff was a shocking golf shot, frankly.
um gary woodland's five iron i would put that down a shot as the year because that was an absolute joke i mean i just as soon as he hit it and the shot tracer took off i thought oh my goodness what a golf strike that was and for it to go in i mean i'm slightly kidding it won't be shot of the year but hell of a hell of a shot it would have been good to see that in person that's the kind of shot that when you're there these guys watching that they will remember that forever they will be what remember when gary hit that five iron but um if you were there in person eddie
I probably would have hung back.
The chance, look, the atmosphere, as Matt said, I thought was fine.
It's the sheer unoriginality, if that's even a word, of the chance that bothers me somewhat.
And for Matt, you know, what they don't understand is Matt is a Sheffield United support.
He's been to football matches.
So though there's a lot of profanity at football matches, there are some quite entertaining moments
and clever chants that do get sung, whereas in America they just seemingly don't exist.
