Like, I want to hear all that stuff.

And I'm fed up with a system where I don't get to hear that from anyone.

That's nice for me too, emotionally, but you need that to be backed up by someone who can actually talk in real empirical terms about the struggles that this country faces and what's going to need to be done about it.

And I do not see any indication from him that he's the man to do it.

I think that there's, yeah, 100%.

I'm sorry about that, but it's just true.

And that we are, do you remember, okay, like, do you remember in those early days of COVID, Boris Johnson was terrified of making an argument for national self-sacrifice?

He just couldn't, because he's not that guy, right?

He's the party guy.

I mean, he really was the party guy.

But, you know, he's just the fun times guy.

He didn't want to talk about communal sacrifice for the greater good.

Which is funny, because he was writing a biography of Churchill at the time.

When Churchill got the position in World War II, his first thing was, like, I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears, and sweat.

It was just like, no fun times here, guys.

Like, this is going to suck, right?

And we're probably all going to die.

But maybe if we don't, you know, we'll save the world.

Like, what's funny is even as he was writing a biography of that personality...

Boris Johnson, who clearly wanted to sort of model himself on Churchill, was actually basically the complete opposite.
