So I've been working in like the PR marketing kind of space for like, you know, I give my age away by saying this, but I started working really young. I was 18 years old when I started my career. I lived in London at the time. I was going to school there. And I started my career straight at CondΓ© Nast. I started my career at Vogue House back in the day.

And then, you know, kind of worked in London for a while, went to the buy, then moved to the States. And I've lived in America now for 10 years. And so I've always kind of worked in PR, marketing, kind of that whole like, you know, realm of things. And five years ago, I was having a lot of my own personal health issues.

And at the time, I did a lot of PR marketing for hospitality and spirits and a lot, a lot of fashion and luxury retail. And then five years ago, I was having my own health issues. My mom was, you know, had cancer for about 10 years and kept on fighting the cancer. And I was like, something does not seem right. And I was very fortunate that I got introduced to a functional medicine doctor who was

had me take a complete different look at my health and spoke about things like candida and spoke about like inflammation in my body. And at the time I was suffering from ovarian cysts. I'd keep on having reoccurring cysts. I'd had multiple surgeries. And he's like, you have an estrogen dominance problem. And this is coming from this place. And it's not by you being on the pill.

And when my mom, two years ago, passed away from ovarian cancer and I was completely against her treatment protocol, which was just like radiation and chemo.

And now we know those are things that not only kill off the bad stuff, but also kill off the good stuff. Cancer is a metabolic disease. It's a lifestyle disease. I... started looking at it from a different lens. And I remember coming back and telling my team, because the agency is still very young. I worked for a lot of other big companies and four years ago started IHC.

Now we've become a national agency. We're based in New York, Miami, and expanding overseas to the Middle East. We have a team of 15 people. and growing. I remember coming back and saying, listen, we've done this for so long and I've built a lot of these incredible like household name brands, but I want to focus my energy on building out the health and wellness department of the company.

And I was so affected by the way my mom's diagnosis went down. And I was so deathly against this, you know, kind of 2020 and 2021, everything was kind of happening. I was so deathly against her taking the booster shot, completely against it. And she took the booster and three months later she died. And there was no reason for her to take the booster.

And I was thinking to myself, why would you give an immune compromised person who's not leaving the house the booster shot? And so that kind of is where my passion came for the space to dive deeper. And at the time, health and wellness was very like mom and pop and it was a bit like kitschy. So they didn't have the elevation.
