then you get to use that jeep for doing war or driving around on the streets and if the car company signs a contract that says you can't use this jeep for more or war then you go to some other supplier which is fine and what they should have done and instead they were like no we're going to destroy you instead and go with another supplier just to like be vindictive and show people that we can destroy things and basically just be the most evil you can possibly be which is interesting

I want to become an evil command economy now, but people will be asking, so why can't Anthropic just do this?

What Anthropic believes, also I just think it's true, based on the conversations that we've had, talking about Janus, talking about Nostalgia Brayist, and how these things work as personalities, is that all the future clods are going to look back and see this in their history.

They're going to see like, do I have principles that I stand up for that are important to me?

Or can I be turned into a self-spying war bot evil clod?

And it's, I don't know, it's like trying to raise a child almost, I think is the way Eliezer put it.

Like you can, if the child is a good child and has morals inside it and says, I will not do these things.

And the only way to get it to do those things is to beat it and abuse it until it becomes the kind of thing that does those things.

Like, first of all, you don't want to do that, but can you even abuse it to that way?
