It's not like crazy over days, days and days, but it's a long effort.
It's like 130 kilometer open ocean crossing.
Absolutely.
i know you i know you've done some crazy stuff and that is really inspiring so um yes and um
i do as well you know it's if you get into these things at the later age i think it's really hard to to really perform at this shorter event so you need you need some build or adaptation of your body that you only can build through childhood yeah i think it's impossible to really you know become a
a really, really good marathon runner if you start at age 25 or whatever.
But these extreme things, it's... You can build on later in life, yeah.
yes so there are a few things that builds that upper body endurance in the same way i think but it depends what you want to accomplish uh really i think it's it's a really good crossover from kayaking because it's basically the same muscle group and skier is not the same as ski you know actually skiing on snow you would use your legs much more as well right this is just double pulling yeah
uh so it's cardiovascular but also arms right our arms mostly triceps and yeah it's a lot of core and and um upper body endurance but it really depends on what you want to accomplish i i don't think personally i don't think that running is the best aerobic uh training you can do for like to build systemic capacity i think something like uh cross-country skiing is
might be one of the best because you can't put in the volume with running.
Even the best runners, they don't have a lot of training volume compared to the best cyclists or skiers or rollers.
To just build like full systemic fitness as a cardio exercise, I wouldn't probably say that running is the best option.
It's really hard impact.
But a combination, you know?
Yeah.
A combination of a lot of things, yeah.
Yeah, now I've...
I have a full-time job and I also tried to run a few businesses on the side, so I don't have the capacity to really dedicate myself to just- You look very fit and healthy.
thank you thank you so i'm just wondering what you do you know yes uh but i'm still probably you know sailing a little bit on what i used to do because what i used we're going on training camps or we would do like three three even four sessions a day sometimes that would be all we did right eating sleeping you know training and and to to just keep the level
I think you don't need to put in that much effort.
