We now make decisions at the pace of Egypt.

And the fact of the matter is, all he did was raise the targets because he knew he wouldn't be in government when it was going to hit the reality of this.

Micheál Martin isn't thinking beyond the next election.

He's thinking, if I can get to next February, I'm doing really well.

And, you know, so he's thinking about the here and now.

So there's a congenital failure of the political system to make long-term decisions.

And I really feel for my five grandchildren and so on, because the lack of political leadership to even confront some of these issues.

Well, no, we'll put it like this.

There's been times in our history, the building of the National Motorways.

It was done in about eight years on budget.

That is just one example.

To go do that today between Habitat's directives and, you know, so many different objectors who just don't like...

So they have an accelerated infrastructure task force that have made 39 recommendations.

And all of that's, you know, expedite this, streamline that, judicial reviews, the other stuff.
