I think it is, you know, a little different, especially for fathers today than 30 years ago.
You know, it's funny.
I think back now and my mother and I are both incredibly similar and very different.

And I think in some ways it was a reaction to the austerity and the control of growing up in a communist country and then Czechoslovakia.
Like, nobody was going to tell her what to do.
Nobody was going to tell her what to say.

and really studied her almost in a way that I wish I had done when she was living and I could speak to her directly.
And I think I understand her, A, because I'm at a level of maturity and I have some of the same issues, you know, having young children.
And I think I understand her, though, better today than I did in some ways in her life.

She wrote a book in the final years of her life that talked a lot more about her childhood.
And I think not uncommon.
