Yetis.
Earlier this week, Jack and I did a whole story on PepsiCo.
The first deflation situation.
Pepsi cut the prices of Doritos, Cheetos, Tostitos, and Fritos.
Uh-ohs.
By 15%.
Because consumers have been pushing back on prices and buying store brand chips to save money instead.
Chipotle's earnings showed a similar price pushback from consumers.
Yes, they did.
Comparable sales fell for the second time in three quarters at Chipotle.
So Chipotle is going to cut prices just like Pepsi did, right?
Pivot to budget burritos.

Pause the pod.
That ain't the situation in the burrito line right now.
Chipotle is not getting cheaper at all.
In fact, yesterday they announced the opposite.
They're raising prices by 2% this year, which by our count is like the 10th time since the pandemic began that they're raising prices.
I know.
Guac was already extra, and now this.
