That's the method you keep a thousand dollars saved as baby step one.

You take anything else that you have saved and you apply it to your debt using the debt snowball method.

That's smallest to largest by balance.

You knock them out.

And then from there on, now you're on to being able to take that money, save up three to six months of emergency funds.

But baby step two is the kicker because that's where the sacrifice lies.

If you said there's a 20% penalty, you'll be taxed on your income tax.
