so it was we were on the cusp of like a rebrand of the show when the pandemic hit but yeah it was it was me trying some stuff out that was like that was like when I was starting to try to pivot to stand up right before the pandemic hit okay yeah we love that though I think it's a very funny concept I say yeah it's one of those things where like I actually now look back on the memories of telling people what the pitch of the show was and like now I'm like oh that's what that person looks like when they lie because they think oh my god that's so that's such a fun idea yeah

um uh so we called ourselves that and we were like just doing a bunch of dumb shit on stage there was like a show called there used there's a show at ucb called cage match okay which was like it was on thursday nights and it was like two teams would each do a set and then the odd for like 25 minutes and then the audience votes on who won and then they get to come back the next week and do the show and face off a new team so you could like

keep doing the show as long as you kept winning.

Right.

And that was, like, how that team became a UCB team was we, like, won that a bunch.

But, like, I was so addicted.
