I could have thought you would have said Year 3000.
Well, what's funny is Year 3000 is a cover.
It's not even our song originally.
A lot of people don't know this.
Yeah, so there's a band called Busted.
They are amazing guys.
And had, you know, their first kind of big record and break in the early 2000s.
But this song that was massive over in the UK didn't really transition over here to the U.S.
It didn't chart here in the U.S.,
So our label exec, David Massey, signed us, and he's the best guy ever.
He was like, I have this idea.
What if we cut this record and release it in the U.S.?
So we did, and it was wild.
I mean, a brilliant move on his part to find that, pair it with us, and obviously Busted had to approve it because for a long time we had all these people being like, from the U.K., being like,
I was like, you can't steal a song.
