I remember when that, I was paying attention to it because I lived in Canberra for a while and did my uni years there.

I'm actually really fond of the place.

As only people who've lived in Canberra are.

People who've not lived in Canberra are not fond of it, but people who do have this lifelong affection for it by and large.

And you and I are both two of those people.

Can you just explain what the Mr. Fluffy controversy was and what it meant to a city like Canberra?

They probably had an inverse value at that point.

Because mesothelioma takes a while, quite a long while to appear properly or to present, doesn't it?

Now, Australians who were exposed to asbestos through the workplace, like, for example, the workers who installed the Mr Fluffy...

they would have been covered by compensation, wouldn't they?

But, yes.

And how are they compensated?

What support are they given with these funds?

Medical funeral expenses.

And what do you make of that as a former lawyer and a former comedian, the kind of devil's calculation that has to go behind that sum?
