I was wondering who the effects of the festive period would affect more.
Liverpool played virtually the same team and did make the substitutions maybe a bit later than Wolves.
But it seemed to certainly affect Liverpool a lot more.
having so many games so close together really.
And Liverpool were in some ways hanging on towards the end.
They just never made enough of those situations in and around the box to really work the goal.
I can't think of a big chance Wolves should have scored, or a sitter really, but they just never made enough crossing situations and shots from the edge of the box.
And that's what top teams do.
I think Wolves have been one of the stories of the season in that they started the season really poorly.
Everyone was saying Europa League, Europa League.
They have to dismiss it, get out of it.
We hear that so often.
They've actually stayed in it, qualified and back up near the top of the league.
We've talked about Sheffield United a lot this season because they're new to the Premier League.
But I think what Wolves have done with European commitments, the small squad that they have, I think they've only used 19 players in the Premier League.
I think they've done some job, that manager.
Yeah, it was interesting, the team.
I didn't expect that team today.
I think JΓΌrgen Klopp said before the game Shaqiri would have played, so maybe there would have been two changes today.
But there's now three games in the weekly play, Sheffield United Thursday.
