Because then you are by definition committing to something you're, you're showing everyone what you think in that situation.

And then we can kind of use that to apply and predict and how future situations are going to go.

But right now, I mean, his MO has, has very, very much been keep his cards close to his chest, keep his options open.

Don't commit to anything that you don't have to commit to.

Uh, one thing we touched on briefly in your conversation with RJ, but, um,

didn't get a chance to unpack a little bit.

You asked him about the process of hiring a new assistant general manager.

And he, you know, he's going through that process.

And as RJ has mentioned before, he obviously puts a lot of weight on a certain hiring process.

He likes to take his time.

He likes to be very diligent on it, but it was very striking that, you know, you asked him about an AGM generally, and his answers were very much about the,

clearly focused on Abbotsford, right?

Whoever they were hiring was going to be doing things in Abbotsford and there was a lot that needed to get done in Abbotsford and player development and all of those things.

Not a huge surprise because, of course, Ryan Johnson was the GM of the Abbotsford Canucks, and now he has a very different job.

But it's also worth noting that around the league, it's not always an AGM that runs the AHL team as well, right?

Those can be separate positions.

You can have someone who is just the GM of the Abbotsford Canucks.

That's right.
