I completely understand that distinction right the value to really making young players earn roles and opportunities as opposed to just handing them everything on a silver platter is
There's a very fine balance, and I also think that it is totally appropriate for a rebuilding team that is devoid of high-end talent to err on the side of giving young players opportunities.
That doesn't mean there's no accountability, but there's no possibility of them losing those opportunities or falling into different parts of the lineup.
