like we we all we talk about and this is just inherent to covering sports right we talk about all the fourth line player really low skill or whatever the baseline of skill in the NHL is so outrageously high also there's no outrageously high there's no like there's nowhere to hide in an NHL lineup anymore and and so that like the the first the the guy who produced incredibly well
in the whl has just has a much better chance of settling of like learning the defensive side of the game a little bit better and getting a little stronger and then they have the skill to hang in the nhl on top of it as opposed to the toolsy guy who you're hoping will have the skill to match his athletic ability yeah like colton sissons right whose career high in points is 35 um and it has been like a career bottom six forward
I'm laughing at the ridiculousness of it, not the joke itself.
I mean, there's a few guys.
It's just a very, very difficult thing to do.
But if you can do it, it's great.
Then it's awesome.
Otherwise, maybe just go for the guys who can score.
Please.
That's the show for today.
We will be back tomorrow for more Canucks Talk here on Sportsnet 650.
