You just know that that's what he does.
There isn't really, you know, the levels are so high.
I think the only time you would perhaps question him is if he doesn't do it.
Right now, he's not taking it for granted.
I just think when someone gets to that level, you're like, yeah, he's there and you know he's going to score.
And I think the fact that probably it's even helped him, the fact that Mane's... Because sometimes you look at players where... I think if you go to Ronaldo and Messi as an example, I think the reason why they are so great is because they've had each other to push each other on.
On a Tuesday night in the Champions League, you'd see Messi would get a hat-trick and then the following night, Ronaldo would get one.
And I think that's a little bit like with Mane and Salah.
Although they're teammates, you can see that they are
individually driven to almost beat each other at times.
There have been one or two incidents over the years, not so much this last year or so, but where they haven't set each other up and there's been a little bit of discord between the two of them.
But I think there's a genuine respect.
They probably want to beat each other deep down, but the common theme is they want to be winners for the team Liverpool.
And I think that's what you have to congratulate the manager for because he's got them playing as a pair and he's got them playing in a team way, whereas some managers might have really struggled
I hear stories, Peter, about some clubs, I won't name names, but they have goal-scoring bonuses.
But then what would cause a problem?
Because the players would become selfish.
So what they'd end up having to do then is give them an assist bonus to match it.
So they think that at least if they get them to make a goal, they'll get that money.
I mean, that's crazy that the game's gone like that.
