As you can imagine, with Servoy being a software platform and with a lot of engineers in-house, we built our own.

Would I do that today?

Absolutely not.

I'm married with no children.

I wish my 20 years old self would know what things not to do.

And that's my main lesson for anybody who's starting a company.

The key thing is, what are the 10 things that you're not going to do?

Because you can waste your time on a lot of thousands of things that you shouldn't be doing.

Have a laser sharp focus on what you want to achieve with your business and begin there and don't do all the unimportant things.
