Chile is the world's second largest producer and exporter of salmon, second only to Norway.
It accounts for around a third of global salmon production.
Most of it ends up in the United States, Japan and Brazil.
Claudio's company helps businesses in the salmon industry keep operations running, especially since so many firms work in remote parts of Patagonia.
How can you help?
Give me some examples of how you can improve things.
When you were talking about traceability, things getting lost, stock being lost, is it also being stolen sometimes?
Last mile delivery, or logistics, isn't just distance.
It's about cost and complexity.
Even a short final journey can take days or cost as much as a long trip to get there, especially if weather conditions are bad.
One market that's already affected by expensive transport costs is the building industry.
Pablo Delgado works in a building merchant's in the town of ChaitΓ©n, which is an eight-hour ferry ride from a port near Puerto Montt.
That's because small deliveries directly to the customers aren't cost effective.
Carriers prefer full truckloads.
Tiny shipments cost more per unit to deliver.
And conditions get tougher in winter as the weather gets worse and ferries can be cancelled.
Back in Puerto Montt, Claudio and his team at Patagonia Cloud are working on a potential solution for shopkeepers like Pablo and Adita back in Puerto Tranquilo.
And how are you going to reach them?
More adoption of technology and improvements to the Carretera Austral Highway would make a big difference to last mile logistics here.
But for now, Chile's Patagonia continues to be a truly stunning but expensive place to live in or visit.
