I chose Mael as well. And I went back and replayed it and got Verso's ending as well, and I felt like I played the ending first that I wanted. You know, I... Man, there are two. Well, it is hard, but I knew I knew at that point kind of what the what the end result of either was going to be.

One is if you side with Verso and the family has to come to terms with the fact that he's dead and they escape the painting and they try to patch up their tattered family. But the idea of Mael continuing the delusion was a much more appealing and sort of sadly poetic kind of situation for me. And there are two sounds in this game that I will remember for the rest of my life.
