At the weekend box office, Emerald Fennell's bold new reimagining of Wuthering Heights debuted in the top spot with an estimated $34 million in ticket sales.
The romantic drama stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi as the star crossed Catherine and Keith Cliff.
In second place, the animated basketball film Goat, with $26 million.
The Sony release, produced by basketball star Steph Curry, also pulled in $15 million internationally, bringing its global total to $47 million.
And in third place, the heist thriller Crime 101, with an estimated $15 million in ticket sales.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio continues his trip overseas and is now in Hungary.
Earlier today in Slovakia, he told that country's president that the U.S.
is committed to strong ties with its European allies.
Rubio addressed the Munich Security Conference yesterday.
Tomorrow, he's set to meet with Hungarian President Viktor Orban, who's considered one of President Trump's closest allies in Europe and also has maintained close ties to Russian President Putin.
He's also against sending military aid to Ukraine.
