If you feel that way, that if you're taking the money someone spends on your first date as a symbol of what you're worth, I think that's more your problem than theirs.
I think it shows a value of your own time and energy.
If you go from dinner to coffee, there's something a little off about that.
We're just trying to figure this out, and it's a show of value of your own time, energy, spirit, whatever.
I just want to see if we're cool.
And the attractive thing, I'm more attracted to someone, so I'll ask them on a better date.
I just think that's a fraudulent take.
If you're attracted to someone, you want to get to know them quicker and see if this is going to work out.

Now there's extenuating circumstances, whatever that come up that you can't plan a date and it goes long.
