So I know the name, I mean, they mentioned in the interview that some of the names that were being considered were kind of, you know, in the system for a long time and that we're looking to do things a little differently.

I mean, I did come in with somewhat of a plan

to talk about what I thought were the important steps and a couple of priorities that we needed to hone in on.

And I guess those landed.

Yeah, I don't think it had a whole lot to do with me.

Uh, I think that there was a very widely covered falling out, um, you know, between some pretty, pretty important people.

And I became a good target, uh, you know, to kind of as a parting shot, I think in that whole divorce.

Um, I mean, I wouldn't even call it really, um,

you know, speculation.

I've, you know, heard enough from, uh, enough folks of, you know, how it all went down to, to understand.

And I didn't take any of it personally, by the way, like I, the, the, like, I knew what I was getting into eyes wide open.

There were risks of falling out and divorce and, you know, where, you know, where my connections were, weren't coming from SpaceX and, uh, and such.

So like, I, I understood it all.

I just,

I kind of falsely assumed that I would have an opportunity to kind of get in the job and have an opportunity to kind of make my contributions and stand on my own.

But prior to the confirmation, if there was going to be a big falling out, I probably should have anticipated I might be one of the ones taken out in it.

And that's, by the way, the real shame.

The world's greatest space agency doesn't have a confirmed leader right now.

I think other than GSA, it's the only agency or cabinet kind of position that doesn't have a confirmed leader.

The most accomplished space agency in the world, it doesn't have a confirmed leader at this point.
