And SpaceX was like, this seems like something I could disrupt, not to mention they have a great vision.
So we launch more orbital class rockets every year, largely thanks to reusability.
The country that launches the second most without any of that tech is China.
And they're not like too far behind.
So they will be the next country to unlock reusability.
Like they will make something that looks like a Falcon and a Starship inevitably.

And it's not just limited to space.
I think they are literally sitting back and saying, what are the absolute coolest, world-changing projects across all technology domains?
And assign somebody to it and resource it and make it happen.
I mean, they went from literally like coal-fed locomotives 25 years ago.
Now they have 25,000 miles of high-speed rail across the country.
They're like, build a fusion research center.
Build the largest telescope in the world.
That sounds like a good idea.
Build the biggest dams.
Send some people to the moon.
Put nuclear reactors in space because we're going to want that kind of power generation from a propulsion or laser perspective.
Build an aircraft carrier.
