If you get a chance, friend of the pot, Anthony Slater wrote an article for ESPN this week about the Kings and detailed how Vivek nudged his front office to sweeten the deal to the Spurs to get DeMar DeRozan, which led to them giving up that swap in 2031.

Listen, this is definitely a bad because the Kings feel light years away from playoff contention at this point.

But at the very least, they are not the irrelevant, meandering, low 30s win team that so many of us projected in the preseason.
