But the reality is that Caleb and Pat, Caleb especially, just was not

very good in this game.

Obviously, I mean, the play is total shades of the UVA play against Furman where Kihei Clark tosses the ball in the air and Furman hits a miracle three to win it.

It's almost the exact same play.

are saying, guys, just hold onto it and shoot your free throws.

There's no reason to try and pass it.

And I don't entirely disagree with that, but I will say this to sort of mitigate that criticism.

I want to remind everyone that UConn had only been called for seven fouls at that point.

So Duke was in the one and one.

By the way, I want to point out the ridiculous absurdity of the fact that Duke wasn't in the double bonus at that point, that we were only barely in the 1-1.

It shows you the refs were clearly blind and not watching this damn game.

But the reality of the circumstances was Duke was up 2, but we were in the 1-1.

And I think that... I don't want to say the team was scared or anything like that, but...

hey, running a little bit of extra time before we shoot those free throws, I think that was the theory in that moment.

And it's worth noting, this is going to seem silly to say, but if Caden's ball doesn't get tipped, he had both Pat and Isaiah down the floor ahead of him with no one from UConn there.
