I'm going to talk about a few individual players.
I hate to do this.
It's not fun, but you and I, we sing their praises when they succeed.
And when they don't, we have to say it like it is, uh, Isaiah Evans in a season where he has constantly consistently elevated his game.
His season ends not with a bang, but with a whimper, he scores just seven points, uh,
one of four on three pointers i mean slim was literally over the past six weeks slim's been averaging like nine three pointers a game only gets off four in this game um took just six total shots like i've been talking oh if you try and cut slim off from from going to from getting his threes he'll go to the basket on you not in this game he didn't um
He takes six, like I said, six total shots.
Only the Texas Tech game, where we now know he was sick.
That's the only game all year where he took this few shots.
I also want to talk about Malik Brown.
Malik ends his career with zero points, five rebounds, four of them in the first half, just one rebound in the second half.
No blocks, no steals.
I saw a couple little deflections, but frankly, his post-defense on Terrace Reed was pretty damn ineffective pretty much the entire game.
Now, Malik is not built to play Reed that well, but that's the reality.
And...
I hate to say it because I'm sure that he was feeling his foot and it wasn't feeling good.
But Caleb Foster, three turnovers, 0 of 1 from the field, didn't really do anything.
Again, the injuries, and I think, by the way, Donald, that
Caleb and Pat also didn't do a lot.
He had a couple of really nice passes in the first half and such.
