Boys, have a good one.
Go Canada.
Can't wait for Thursday.
I don't even know where to start, to be honest.
I love that answer, by the way.
It's beyond ridiculous.
When you just take a step back and the fact that
you saw Darren Drager's tweet that, you know, the orders reached out to the NHL PA to see if there are objections that must be resolved before potentially hiring Mike Babcock.
Can you think of any other situation where a coach got hired that you're like, man, his past is so shady that we have to reach out to the NHL PA to think if they're okay with this.
So that's strike one.
But then you can just go through, and I actually wrote an article when Babcock's name was brought up three weeks ago, outlining
just how asinine it would be.
And not an opinion, based on factual stuff that's occurred from Johan Fransen to Mike Medano to Mitch Marner to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
But, you know, then I also found a story while I was researching an article I'm writing today written by Dan Robson and Katie Strang, and it outlines
Frankie Corrado, Tony Martinson, Peter Holland, the Toronto Maple Leafs trainers, German Titoff, Danny Lambert, Jason York, all different, but there's always one thing in common, guys, and anybody who's ever dealt with a bully...
knows bullies like to prey on those that they think are weak and vulnerable and in the case of a coach people that are disposable so it's easy to want to bully guys who you know are down low on the depth charts right it's like when coaches bench their four oh our 12th and 13th four it's coming out of the lineup we're really sending a message right but to do it to the level of babcock and to do it repeatedly and when you have what he did to johan franson itself
On the bench, the guy has a nervous breakdown in the room.
Chris Chelios, on record, says it's the worst thing he's ever seen.
Oh, but that's okay, guys.
Because evidently in Edmonton, if he won a Stanley Cup in 2008, well, that forgives everything.
