edmonton and vegas are the two best teams colorado now sure an injury to macar played a factor but he did play some games and everybody has injuries but vegas and edmonton have been the two best teams in the west now for four years running they're the only two teams that go to the cup and they beat in dallas and they beat in colorado who else can they beat right they beat each other and edmonton isn't that far off like they don't need to have massive revamping of the rosters
McDavid, Drysaddle, Dickinson, Henrique.
Can you name one team in the NHL history that's going to win a playoff series with their four centers hurt?
It's like everybody's forgotten that.
Edmonton would have beat Anaheim.
I have no idea if they would have beat Vegas.
They could have lost to Vegas.
But that doesn't mean that they're a terrible team and they're far away.
It just means that them and Vegas continue to be the two top teams, and they're close.
So I look at Edmonton, and here's the other fact about the orders.
So you go look at when Chris Knobloch came in.
His 69 games, they had the best record in the NHL.
for the final 69 games.
They were top five in goals for, they were top five in goals against.
Then they went to game seven of the Stanley Cup final lost by a goal.
Now that's a new coach.
Go look at Jay Woodcroft's start in Edmonton.
Go look at Dave Tippett.
It's all the same.
