When you're assistant coach, I think you're, you know, if you're focused on the footing, you're not worried about everything that goes with the head coach job, you can...
um, sort of separate yourself and then just concentrate on the game.
But, um, yeah, like I've got to a stage now where I'm, I'm comfortable with, um, looking after people, looking after environments.
And that's what excites me, I suppose, is letting other people be at their best.
So, um, yeah, it's a, it was a unique experience.
Um, there's definitely pressure there, but, but, um, that's just a slightly different type of pressure.

As I say, I've thought about making sure I continue to coach with a smile on my face, continue to relax at times, continue to have a bit of banter with the boys, and continue to make sure you coach the way you're at your best, I suppose, and that's been the biggest thing for me.
It's just being clear around that when, you know, when you start the job, I think is a big part of it.
And making sure that, you know, it is an awesome, you know, big operation with huge legacy behind it, obviously, but making sure you be yourself is so big around how you operate.
I'd never intended to go back in there.
I thought I'd take stock once the All Black season was over, have a look at where I'm at and what I really want to do.
And Clarkie came to me and said, look, come in and work with Koops around the attack.
You know, Clark, he's been pretty open book and said, look, you and Coops do what you want to do with it.
And mate, there's all the frameworks are there.
