Some senior players, we talked around the senior players that the Canes have got now.
You look at that group that won in 216, a lot of guys in that late 20s, done good years, lost the final the year before, set up to win a championship, you know.
So yeah, I hope I'm a better coach now than I was in 2016, but it was still awesome to have that and feel like you're a part of that.
Yeah, it was my first coaching gig with the Canes and we went over and sat in that little box in Canberra and lost by 50.
I can't remember if I was confident.
I remember that was a big shock to the group, but I think that was the beauty of the boys we had and that they're a bit older.
